About me
I’m 44, from peaceful Finland and am married to an Englishman. We have a six year old daughter and are based in South West London. I’m a professionally qualified youthworker and have worked as a nanny for over three years. I have passion for travelling and exploring new places so I will always cherish my time as cabin crew and manager for over 13 years. That life experience gave me some great transferable skills which I now use in my life as a Doula.
Becoming a Doula is one of the best decision I’ve ever made. I really enjoy building relationships with the families I work with and love being surrounded by babies.
As a mother, knowing the magic and fulfilment of having a child, I’m honoured to be present for the moment my clients become parents.
I also volunteer for Neighbourhood Doulas organisation. We provide ongoing antenatal, birth and post natal support to mothers who find themselves without a birth partner and are unable to afford a Doula privately.
When not working as a Doula, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I’m very active and love going running and for long walks. Yoga and spinning classes also always make me happy.
